LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars App Reviews

I played lego starwars the complete saga with my cousin and i thought it was pretty cool then we played the clone wars and were blown away by how awesome it was and was exited to get it on my mac. so i recemend this game HIGHLY.

I purchased the last 2 Lego Star Wars games, and had no problem running them on my Mac Mini. This one runs painfully slow on the Mini with the integrated NVidia graphics. So much so that it is unplayable. For some reason, it effects the sound as well, so when the graphics get bogged down, the sound stutters like a broken record. Ive tried every combination of graphics settings, going down to 800 x 600 resolution with all the bells and whistles (i.e. shadows, FSAA, etc.) tuned off, with little luck. The Feral Interactive website references a ReadMe file to address these issues, but one didnt come with my download from the App Store. Its not on their website either. So I have to give 3 stars to a game which Im sure would be just as fun as the previous two LSW, if only it was playable.

The first level that I played blew me away. Graphics are excellent, the amount of CPUs on a screen is enough to make you feel as if you are battling entire armies, and the story is humorous and funny! Highly recommend this game for strategy and army commanding lovers! It is worth the $20.00!!

its a good game with a very good storyline only problem is the controls you have to change them imidietly an theres one one more the game sometimes wont open

I played this game on my friends Xbox 360, and the game was so enjoyable it made me decide to get game version for Mac OS X. My thought was, "Man, is this going to be just one big laggy experience?", but it turned out that everything ran perfectly throughout the whole game. The only fualt I thought the game had with my computer was the fact that my computer bottom got exceptionally hot. I was worried of that effected performance and or the lifespan of the computer itselft. So, after I had these concerning thoughts I went to the famus "MacRumors" forum, and saw a lot of temperature related topics. Every topic I saw about the computers temperature said, in laymans terms, not to worry about the computers temperature. If the computer really does get too hot for it to run then it will shut off. After finding out that my computer was safe playing this game I had no problems at all with it, and now, I am here giving it five stars.

I WISH I COULD SOMEHOW GET THE EXTRA VEHICLES WHENEVER I END A LEVEL USING THE VEHICLES I CANT RIDE THEM IN THE SHIP

Like most LEGO games this can be fun. But this one is begins with frustrating repetition. Once you gain the red brick power ups, it becomes boring repetition. Then before you can complete the game, a glitch causes some key goal to be unattainable without starting over. Not to mention the game crashes just before you can complete a level and save your progress.

Its amazing how far these games have come. This one has to be the best so far! I would love to give it 5 stars but its crashing frequently for me. Im running on a 2009 iMac. OS: SL (10.6.8) RAM: 4GB VRAM: 256MB Proc: Intel Core Duo 2.66. Once the crashes stop Ill happily give it 5 stars.

This game runs perfectly on a 2011 MacBook Pro 15" . Well worth the $20.

This is a revied editing. Earlier I had stated that Feral was no help in getting it to run on my machine. But in the end - they figured it out (turns out that I had an incompatible plug-in - from the HEAR app extension). They even followed up to make sure that their last email was helpful. So great customer service as far as I am concerned! The Game - great graphics. I dont usually play games on my computer (I play them on my xbox) but I wanted this one for while I was on vacation. Thats only relevant, because I think the controls during gameplay are a little wonky, but that may only be because I am not used to playing on a keyboard. The storyline for the game is "lego" at its best, with humor and style, and the graphics did not disappoint. It was also rock-solid (once my initial problem was fixed) and did not crash, or even get laggy, after playing for several hours. Only thing I would really like to change is that I would like to be able to skip some cut-scenes (especially if I have already played a level - I just dont need to see it again). Also, a game controls guide would be helpful (of maybe I just havent figured out how to show it, which could also be part of the problem!). The characters are well animated, and the background and atmospheric effects are top notch! Sounds effects as well. All in all, definitely worth the $20.

I loved it, and the fact that you can do split screen just makes it cooler! I have not seen another computer game that allows you to do that. Good graphics, and a ton of awesome levels.

MUCH better than the other LEGO Star Wars games, except for the fact that its based off the Clone Wars. The boss fight levels are awesome, and the army-commanding levels are awesome too. Still, I noticed a lot that they could easily have put into the game to make it better, but for some reason didnt. Also, they left out a LOT of pieces from the minifigure customization thing, so some faces I wanted to use are unavailable. There have been multiple glitches in the levels, often requiring me to restart the level. On two different levels, it is impossible to get the last minikit canister, so Ill never be able to get 100% in the game. So I am MAAAAD.

This game is cool if you love lego.But the only issue that still remains a problem is that they dont have online multiplayer.Everyone loves online multiplayer.But overall great and fun game

THis game is great i love it !!

this is a amazing game so good. I recommend it for any star wars fan. The only problem i have is that when i got all 130 gold bricks all it unlocked was this stealth ship big let down in the complete saga you unlock lego city. I wish that would be in this game please update or somthing like that. GREAT GAME GET IT.

This game is downright amazing. I personally think that this is the best place I’ve put my money in a long time. the gameplay is smooth, and even if you barely meet the system req. (I barely do) the gameplay is still smooth, and barely lags. The only problem with the game is that there is a lot of missions and conflict that never was in the movie. I always like when a game has the same missions and conflict that was in the movie. But, hey, thats just me love this game

this game is awesome

Controls and direction is a bit confusing to me. Worked through most of a level, couldnt figure out how to save. Im sure this is a better game on a console, because working the chars with keys is aggravating.
